My Story
Hi, I’m Che-lee Nortje, Founder and lead Tutor at Succoury Tutors — originally launched as Remote Tutor in South Africa. Now based in Dubai, Succoury Tutors is an hybrid tutoring service supporting learners across the RSA and around the world.
My journey began in 2020, armed with a Level 5 TEFL diploma, a laptop, and a clear mission — to deliver personalised, flexible online learning for students and professionals worldwide.
Since then, I’ve taught learners across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and Africa, helping them achieve their goals in English fluency, exam preparation, and academic writing.
With over eight years of international tutoring experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with learners from India, China, Poland, Pakistan, and South Africa. This global experience has shaped a teaching approach that’s inclusive, adaptable, and culturally aware, designed to meet each learner’s specific needs and goals.

Before any tutoring begins, learners can choose between an English Fluency Assessment or a Learning Method Assessment. These free 30-minute, online assessments help identify current fluency levels or preferred learning styles, ensuring each learner is able to identify their Learning Method or English Fluency, which are provided along with tips and a clear plan - obligation free on completion of the assessment.
Customised Session Plans
Using your assessment results, the tutor develops a personalised learning plan tailored to your academic, exam, or workplace needs. Each plan aligns with your goals, fluency level, and preferred study approach.
One-on-One Online Sessions
All sessions are delivered one-on-one online, allowing for maximum focus, adaptability, and attention to individual progress.
Bi-Monthly Progress Assessments
Every two months, short, structured assessments are provided to track your growth, review challenges, and celebrate achievements. This data-driven approach ensures your progress is always moving forward.
Feedback Reports and Strategy Sessions
Learners and parents receive regular written feedback after sessions. Optional review calls are also available to discuss next steps, clarify questions, and adjust learning plans as needed.
