Succoury Tutors – Website Terms & Conditions

This page outlines the official terms and conditions for clients using Succoury Tutors’ online and in-person tutoring services. These website terms are aligned with the formal agreement signed by guardians and reflect the core clauses of AGREEMENT 2026 – Online Monthly Package.
1. PRELIMINARY PROVISIONS
Succoury Tutors provides personalised online tutoring services focused on English fluency, academic support, and professional communication. By booking services or submitting information through this website, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. SESSIONS, FEES & BOOKINGS
2.1 Sessions may be booked in blocks of 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes and may not be split unless expressly agreed in writing.
2.2 Standard hourly fee is: AED 120. An additional AED 30 per session (regardless of duration) applies for structured lesson planning and a written feedback report. This ensures that each session is individually tailored, progress is monitored consistently, and any areas requiring further support are identified and addressed effectively
2.3. Discounted or promotional rates are discretionary, non-guaranteed, non-transferable, and may be amended or withdrawn due to demand, scheduling, or operational requirements.
2.4 Full upfront payment is required to confirm sessions; sessions are not confirmed until payment is received.
2.5 Sessions are scheduled via Google Calendar; calendar invitations constitute written confirmation.
2.6 Agreed monthly, recurring session times are on ____days at ____pm, and ___days at ___pm unless agreed upon by Succoury Tutors, the tutor and legal guardian of student/ student and amended by Succoury Tutors in writing.
2.7 Session plans, learning materials, and feedback shall be shared via WhatsApp unless otherwise agreed.
3. RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
3.1 Legal Guardian / Student Obligations
3.1.1 Ad-hoc Rescheduling Requests

All ad-hoc rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 4 hours before the scheduled session; otherwise, the session will be charged in full.

The rescheduling request must include a proposed new date and time.

The rescheduled session is only confirmed once the tutor acknowledges and confirms the new date and time, which should occur within 48 hours of the rescheduling request.

If parents fail to confirm a rescheduled date and time based on the tutor’s availability within 48 hours of the request, a cancellation fee of the full session fee will apply.
3.1.2 Rescheduled sessions may not be moved more than seven (7) calendar days beyond the original scheduled date and are subject to availability within Succoury Tutors’ calendars only. Where a session is not successfully rescheduled within this timeframe due to the Legal Guardian’s or Student’s request or unavailability, the session shall be deemed cancelled and the full session fee shall be deducted from the package balance in accordance with Clause 3.1.4. This clause shall not apply where rescheduling is required due to tutor or Succoury Tutors’ initiative, or where no suitable alternative timeslot is available within Succoury Tutors’ calendars despite reasonable efforts by the Legal Guardian or Student.
3.1.3 Monthly packages must be used within 4 weeks of the initial or renewal date; unused sessions expire automatically.
3.1.4 All cancellations result in the full session fee being deducted from the package balance.
3.1.5 Late arrival does not obligate the tutor to extend the session.
3.1.6 Requests to amend recurring weekly sessions must be submitted at least 7 days in advance and are subject to tutor availability. Succoury Tutors may approve or decline such requests at its sole discretion. Declined requests do not entitle the Legal Guardian or Student to any refund. Termination fee: AED 200 applies if sessions are discontinued due to personal schedule changes.
3.1.7 Priority / High-Demand Sessions: Certain timeslots may be high-demand. Succoury Tutors may advise the Legal Guardian to:
(a) retain the desired timeslot at the applicable increased rate; or
(b) select alternative, less high-demand timeslots at the standard rate.
If no agreement is reached, the Legal Guardian may forfeit remaining sessions without refund or request reassignment to another tutor, subject to availability. Standard fees apply.
3.1.8 Failure to attend or join within 15 minutes without notice constitutes a no-show and is charged in full.
3.1.9 One (1) month written notice is required for termination; failure to do so incurs an AED 200 fee.
3.1.10 No refunds for unused sessions following early termination by the Legal Guardian or Student.
3.2 Tutor Responsibilities
3.2.1 Deliver all sessions professionally, punctually, and in accordance with the agreed lesson plan and duration.
3.2.2 Reschedule sessions due to illness, emergencies, or unavoidable circumstances, with notice where practicable. Rescheduled sessions to occur within 7 days.
3.2.3 Compensate for late starts or early finishes in the next session or by other mutually agreed means.
3.2.4 Prepare lesson plans, materials, and exercises appropriate to the Student’s age, curriculum, and English/learning level.
3.2.5 Provide constructive feedback on Student progress in a timely, professional manner.
3.2.6 Maintain a professional online environment, including appropriate conduct, communication, and dress code.
3.2.7 Maintain confidentiality of Student and Legal Guardian information; do not share without consent, except as required by law or Succoury Tutors.
3.2.8 Monitor and report any issues affecting Student learning, engagement, or safety, including technical issues and missed sessions.
3.2.9 The tutor shall use reasonable efforts to ensure that all sessions are completed within the package validity period of four (4) weeks. Where sessions are not completed within this period due to tutor or Succoury Tutors’ rescheduling, unavailability, or operational reasons, such sessions shall not be deemed expired or cancelled and no session shall be deducted from the Student’s package balance.3.2.10 Refunds for unused sessions apply only if the tutor permanently resigns or is unable to fulfil sessions due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
3.2.11 Assist Succoury Tutors in operational standards, including scheduling, attendance tracking, lesson documentation, and timely communication.
3.2.12 Promptly communicate conflicts, unavailability, or high-demand session issues to Succoury Tutors.
3.2.13 Comply with UAE online teaching regulations and Succoury Tutors policies regarding online learning, data security, and student safeguarding.
3.3 Succoury Tutors Responsibilities
3.3.1 Engage qualified and suitably trained tutors who are briefed on the Student’s learning needs, and ensure ongoing training and quality assurance in relation to Succoury Tutors’ systems, methodologies, communication standards, and student progress monitoring.
3.3.2 Provide administrative and scheduling support, including but not limited to agreement updates, invoicing, calendar invitations, and facilitation of rescheduling requests.
3.3.3 Safeguard confidentiality and security of Student and Legal Guardian data in accordance with UAE law.
3.3.4 Provide lesson materials, resources, and feedback in a timely, professional, and organised manner.
3.3.5 Address complaints, disputes, or queries regarding sessions, tutors, or services professionally and promptly.
3.3.6 Ensure online platforms and digital tools are functional and provide guidance for their use.
3.3.7 Modify operational processes, session delivery methods, or policies with prior notice, without materially reducing service quality or session content.
4. LEGAL & CONFIDENTIALITY
4.1 Governing Law: UAE law governs this Agreement; UAE courts have exclusive jurisdiction. 4.2 Confidentiality: All personal and academic information is confidential and used solely for educational purposes.
4.3 Online Safety: For students under 18, supervision during sessions is the Legal Guardian’s responsibility. Lessons must take place in a suitable, quiet environment.
4.4 Communication: Official communication via designated WhatsApp groups or email constitutes written notice.
4.5 Intellectual Property: All lesson materials and plans are the exclusive property of Succoury Tutors; reproduction or distribution requires written consent.
4.6 Force Majeure: Neither party is liable for failure due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including internet outages or health emergencies.
5. REFERRAL PROGRAMME
5.1 Clients referring a new first-time student receive one (1) complimentary session; the referred client also receives one (1) credit.
5.2 Credits match the Referrer’s standard session length (max 60 minutes) and are applied within 5 business days.
5.3 Credits expire after 90 days; they are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash.
